Humanity. Dignity. These are concepts lost during elections. Dignity. Humanity. Rights. What are rights? When I speak of rights I am referring to American rights. Those are the only ones I am familiar with. I have a vague concept of other countries’ laws, but I cannot speak from experience and knowledge.

Pro life? Yes, I am pro life and I am very offended when you call me anything other than pro life. I am pro humanity. I am pro dignity. I do not murder in the name of myself, prophets, or Gods. I am pro life, I also believe abortion should remain legal and a choice. The great thing about a choice is you, yourself, get to make it. No one is allowed to make it for you.

If you want to have a baby then have one. No one is stopping you. Trust me, I used to work in CPS, people keep pooping out babies left and right and we can’t stop them. You have a great freedom to have as many babies as you want. Not all countries allow couples to have 19 and counting…

Best thing to happen to Planned Parenthood in this funding cycle… Money is tight and after this very public brawl, Planned Parenthood reportedly walked away with 3 million dollars in donations. Do you know how much Susan G. Komen was going to pull from funding? $600,000. Well played sir. Well played. Looks like the Onion was correct, they have enough funding for that abortion multiplex. If you have a hard time recognizing satire/irony/humor, this isn’t for real.

Gays getting married.

Alright, I’ve defiled this institution twice now. I’m not too proud to admit my first marriage was a practice run. We married for the wrong reasons, began divorce proceedings 9 months after the ceremony, and were legally divorced 1 year and 2 months after the ceremony. We never had kids, we never planned on babies.

Conservatives bitch and moan that gay people ruin the sanctity of marriage. These are the same people that get divorced and have affairs. Wow. Sanctity of what? Don’t pull out your Bible on this one kids. No where does it say marriage is solely between a man and woman and if you look close enough you’ll actually see some discrepancies on whether or not Jesus condoned partnerships. There’s plenty of places in the Bible that read “do not get married” unless it’s to the Lord. Go ahead and interpret it as you wish. I’m not here to discuss your religion with you, but I will ask you to not use your religion when it comes to legal matters.

If marriage has to do with the church then let it be a decision for the church. The state has no right to condemn or make partnerships illegal. It’s illogical, like this:

and then there is the issue with “gays” adopting children. Good God. They should be allowed to adopt as many babies as they want to. Let me reiterate I worked in CPS. Those kids need stable homes. If you even knew the conditions some of them lived in… and then there are the cases where parents will say “Well if you take this one [referring to baby 9] I’ll just have another.” This baby was born addicted to Meth, just like the prior 5 or 6.

If someone wants the challenge, has the resources, and wants to support these children LET THEM! Let them have surrogates. Let them have babies. Let them have families and let them be just as dysfunctional as the rest of us.

If you know me, have heard me speak, or have read anything I’ve ever written you know I have the habit of generalizing that all white people are out of touch conservatives from the burbs and they make batshit statements about rights. And if you ask some of my co-workers if I’m white, they tell you no. I guess I’m a gypsy.

Everyone needs to stop being so fucking UnAmerican. America was founded on the ideas of angry people, kicked out of their homes for being ornery and mildly batshit crazy. Come on, we were all immigrants looking for freedom and it always feels like we are constantly trying to take away someone’s freedom. I’m not saying that if you support something I don’t it makes you UnAmerican, but some of our political debates are just dumb. Let’s look at history, we are constantly repeating the same bullshit.

Slavery. Oppression. Segregation. People of Color. Women. Sexual Orientation/Identity. We repeat the same steps just with a different dance partner.

I’m proud to be an American with my civil liberties. I don’t always agree with my government, but at least I have the right and the safety to do so.
